Cultural
The company strongly promotes new talent as also it respects the work done by noted artists.
Pitambari provided an entire year’s sponsorship to upcoming talent Shri Yogesh Deshmukh, a resident of Thane, for his innovative project titled ‘Swarsamvaad”
.
The company sponsors the very popular Gopikrishna Mahotsav held at Thane every year. The dance and music festival is organized in the memory of the renowned dancer , by Ganesh Cultural Academy, under the guidance of noted dance-guru Dr Manjiri Deo.
The soon disappearing language of the Gods, Sanskrit, has found a strong support due to the efforts of Pitambari. The company offers regular sponsorship for lecture series and other events organized by Sulona Sanskrut Sthaanam an organization for popularization and conservation of this ancient language.
Social
The company sponsors the very popular Vedh mahotsav, held at Thane every year under the leadership of famous psychologist Dr Anand Nadkarni.
The program focuses on providing career guidance to young students.
Promotion of science and scientific thought are the pillars to the success of any nation. The company takes its share of responsibility by sponsoring events related to popularization of science. One such event was a program on ‘Non-Conventional Energy Sources’ organized by Vidya Prasark Mandal Thane.
The company is also on the forefront in promoting sports.. It has sponsored several sports events organized by Thane District Badminton Association
In Promotion of National thought through organization of free programs and events , Pitambari has always lead from the front. The company organized a free screening of ‘Swaatantryaveer Saawarkar’ a film based on the life of the martyr and ‘ Sanyast Jwaalamukhi’ a play based on the life of Swami Vivekanand.
Spiritual
Promotion of the much needed spiritual thought is done by sponsoring the books and booklets published by Sanaatan Sanstha.
The company has also rendered financial help to people working for a noble and spiritual cause. For example the company offered aid for publishing a book by Shree Moreshwar Kunte who traveled through Maharashtra on a two-wheeler to collect information about the temples in Maharashtra.
