Use Copper & Brass for your daily pooja & get
blessings from ALMIGHTY.

India is well known for its culture & festivity. It is also known for its diversity... both cultural & social. But one common thread is tying Indian together i.e. celebrating festivals.
Any festival & pooja requires lots of utensils & other items. They need to be arranged properly before the pooja rituals start. Various festivals are celebrated in different manner in different states. But again one thing is common everywhere & i.e. daily pooja.

Importance of Pooja:

Everybody tries to do pooja with fresh & quiet mind. Normally, in our Indian Hindu Culture, an elderly person in the house/family preforms the pooja & other members of the family recite the mantras. If pooja is performed daily, the atmosphere in the house remains pleasant & pious.
Everyone gets peace of mind & a very different kind of spiritual feeling. The day beings with a good start. To derive this kind of feeling one should concentrate on pooja Our concentration gives us good results. At the same time, the lamp lightened in front of God, fresh flowers used for pooja & agarbatti, all these things also contribute a lot. The utensils used for pooja are also important. In most of the houses the idols which are worshiped are made up of copper or brass. Some places they are made up of gold and silver also. This is traditionally accepted. These four metals have spiritual significance.

Reason of using Copper & Brass utensils for pooja:

In the soil, five great spirits come together viz. earth, water, sky, fire & wind. Their ingredients come together and give special properties to this metals. Thus every part-(principle) of nature has its own significance & grasping capacity. They differ from metal to metal.
They determine the intensity of that particular metal. Copper & Brass are well known for their grasping capacity. They grasp the divine spirit upto 30%, when compared to other metals.
At the same time, these metals grasp the spiritual, pious spirit upto 30%. That is why, copper is considered to be holy & auspicious all the time. It is believed that God blesses his followers when copper is used for pooja. Copper can destroy bad spirits like Raj & Tam (i.e. darkness & bad behavior). If water is kept in a copper vessel it is believed that it becomes 70% pure because good feeling & principals are absorbed in it. That is why, it can attract divine spirit faster when compared to other metals. This property makes the use of copper & brass very fruitful for all ‘bhaktas’(devotees).
‘Pitambari Shining Powder’ is the best for Copper & Brass vessels. Some times we see a greenish black layer on this vessels. This layer is a result of pollution particles in the climate. With the help of ‘Pitambari Shining Powder’, idols & other utensils used for pooja can be cleaned easily & they start shining again. These clean & shining idols of God & other vessels attract divine vibrations instantly. These vibrations cover the one who is offering prayer to God & protects him from evil spirits. Then he experiences a divine state of mind. These vibrations also
spread in your house & purifies your ‘Vastu’. That is why one should use ‘Pitambari shining powder’ & make everything shine. In fact, we say that it is a must.
